Swansea 3 Sunderland 0: Fernando Llorente brace and Gylfi Sigurdsson penalty seal vital win for under-pressure Bob Bradley
Playmaker Sigurdsson opened the scoring with spot-kick before Llorente's double put the result beyond doubt at Liberty Stadium
FERNANDO LLORENTE was the toast of the Liberty Stadium as his double inspired Swansea to a vital 3-0 win over fellow relegation candidates Sunderland.
The Spaniard now has four goals in his last three games to ease the pressure on Bob Bradley and seal all three points for the struggling Welsh outfit.
Gylfi Sigurdsson put Swansea ahead early in the second half with a penalty before Llorente doubled the lead minutes later.
The targetman then made sure of the result when he headed in Jefferson Montero's cross with 10 minutes remaining, sending David Moyes and his suffering Sunderland side back to the north-east with their tails between their legs.

FACTS, STATS, GOALS AND LOLS
- Bob Bradley might not know what his best side is yet, but Leon Britton has to play, whatever the formation.
- Modou Barrow is the luxury that Swansea can afford. His pace means he is a constant threat from start to finish.
- Sunderland return to the foot of the table after a second defeat in three games. They are one point short of safety.
- Sunderland need to start keeping one or two clean sheets, otherwise they will continue to remain in trouble.
- That's two wins in eight games for Bob Bradley. No wonder he had a smile on his face as he left the Liberty Stadium.
- Sunderland's travelling fans stayed right behind their side and they will need that level of support as the New Year beckons.
- It's said that Huw Jenkins will allow Bob Bradley to spend in January. A top class centre half must be on the shopping list.
- If Sunderland try to rely on Jermaine Defoe's goals, they will almost certainly go down. He can't do it every week.
- Paul Williams was a surprise addition to the Swansea coaching team, but he seems to have galvanised the troops.
- Gylfi Sigurdsson has either scored or assisted 40 per cent of Swansea's goals since he returned from Spurs two years ago.
