EVERTON have opened talks with Manchester United over a move for Morgan Schneiderlin.
Ronald Koeman made the France midfielder one of his top priorities for the January window and contact has been made between clubs.
United slapped a £25million price tag on him to make sure they recoup the £24m they paid Southampton for his signature last year.
