MANCHESTER UNITED are ready to offer Edinson Cavani the chance of a switch to the Premier League should he fail to agree a new Paris Saint-Germain deal.

The Uruguayan striker has been a target for the Red Devils and Chelsea for the last 18 months.

PSG have offered Cavani a one-year extension to his current deal that runs out in 2018.

However, the 29-year-old is stalling on the deal, which has alerted Jose Mourinho.

Cavani has scored 20 goals in 20 games for his side this campaign and looks set to beat his Ligue 1 tally of 19 from last season.
