Phil Neville backs big brother Gary after Liverpool stopper Loris Karius commits yet another error in 2-2 draw against West Ham
Jurgen Klopp's summer signing started a war of words with Gary Neville after his howler at Bournemouth
PHIL NEVILLE has stuck up for his big brother after Gary slated Liverpool keeper Loris Karius following a string of mistakes.
The Reds shot stopper came under pressure yet again having failed to keep out Dimitri Payet's first half free-kick in the 2-2 draw against West Ham.
It came just a week after Karius was heavily criticised by Gary for his role in Liverpool's 4-3 defeat at Bournemouth.

The ex-Manchester United full-back said Karius "isn't good enough" before the former Mainz keeper hit back saying he "does not care what Gary Neville said" before taking a dig at Gary's managerial record by adding: "He was a manager for a short bit and now he is back to being an expert again."
And now Phil has weighed into the war of words by saying Karius shouldn't have "shouted his mouth off, having a go at pundits".
Speaking to the BBC, he said: "My criticism of him is not the mistakes he is making, it's the article he did in midweek.
"When you're a young player and your making mistakes or breaking into the team, you do your training, you work as hard as you possibly can, you play on a Saturday and you say nothing.
"Until you've got a couple of seasons under your belt then you can start coming out shouting your mouth off or having a go at pundits.
"I think that is where he has made his biggest mistake."
Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher was the latest pundit to criticise Karius following his performance at West Ham.
Carragher said: "The keeper got criticism last week and has come out and had a pop at Gary Neville and mentioned me and my advice would be: ‘Shut up and just do your job.’
"And doing your job and answering your critics would be saving that [Payet's free-kick]. That is not difficult, I think the positioning is fine, he gets across and reads it well and he is there.
"And his wrists, again like the first goal at Bournemouth, are not strong enough. It is not even in the corner and Payet has not even hit it that hard."
