Everton are without long-term injuries Muhamed Besic and Yannick Bolasie, who are both some months off recovering from cruciate ligament injuries.
Arsenal will be without several key players as the annual December injuries begin to take their toll. Shkodran Mustafi and Aaron Ramsey are the latest pair on the treatment table and won't be available till next week. Mathieu Debuchy is out till mid-January with a hamstring problem while Santi Cazorla, Chuba Akpom, Per Mertesacker and Danny Welbeck all remain out.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said about Mustafi's injury: "It is a challenge, because we had good defensive stability.
"We have Gabriel, we have Holding who can come in for him.
"Overall, I am confident both can do well but that's one of the tests we have.
"We have had many tests since the start of the season in players like Cazorla, who suddenly moved out of the team.
"We managed to deal with that and this is another challenge."
