ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI found the funny side after the results of this year's Ballon d'Or were announced.
The Polish striker was ranked 16th on the list, below the likes of Jamie Vardy and Zlatan Ibrahimovic despite notching a staggering 42 goals in all competitions this season.
Not only did he fire Bayern Munich to the Bundesliga title, the 28-year-old also finished top scorer in Euro 2016 qualifiers before leading the line for Poland to their quarter-final exit.

But obviously that wasn't enough for France Football and Lewandowski made it well aware of what he thought of the results with a Twitter post.

Lewandowski's goal-scoring heroics have continued into this campaign having taken his tally to 21 already in all competitions.
Although it wasn't enough to topple Cristiano Ronaldo, who won his fourth Ballon d'Or, he has every reason to feel aggrieved with the likes of Portugal goalkeeper Rui Patricio ahead of him.
Jamie Vardy took eighth spot whilst team-mate Riyad Mahrez finished one spot above the striker.
