CRISTIANO RONALDO celebrated his fourth Ballon d'Or win by tucking into a gold cake in the shape of the coveted prize.
The Portuguese star was crowned the world's best player for 2016 having guided both Real Madrid and Portugal to major tournament wins.
And on top of being gifted a pair of limited addition gold plated boots, Real Madrid handed him his own prize presented by team-mate Sergio Ramos.

It was a gold cake, shaped as a football - an almost replica of the trophy he collected for the fourth time.
The 31-year-old may even allow himself to enjoy a slice as the La Liga giants head into the winter break with their next league match coming on 7 January.
But first they must play Club America in the World Club Championship.
