PEP GUARDIOLA has again sent scouts to watch Benfica goalkeeper Ederson.
The Manchester City boss also sent talent spotters to Portugal last week to keep tabs on the 23-year-old Brazilian.
According to Portuguese newspaper A Bola, the City boss is contemplating a move for Ederson, who has a £25million release clause in his contract - although it is not clear if City would pay that much.
Scouts would have been impressed with what they saw from the young goalkeeper, who made a string of excellent saves in a 2-1 win over fierce rivals Sporting on Sunday.
In fact, Sporting boss Jorge Jesus even claimed that 6ft 1in Ederson was "the best player in this match".
Ederson has been excellent in his breakthrough season for the club, displacing former Inter and Brazil star Julio Cesar to become the club's No 1 in October.
