Carlo Ancelotti says he wanted to play captain Sergio Ramos as a striker at Real Madrid

SERGIO RAMOS is deemed as one of best in world football at heading - meaning it's not surprise Carlo Ancelotti thought about playing him up front whilst at Real Madrid.
The Los Blancos captain is known for being an aerial threat in the opposition box and he has proved he has an eye for goal after bailing out Zinedine Zidane's side in their last two La Liga matches.
Ramos scored the all important equaliser in El Clasico before scoring a late winner against Deportivo - which the fans fantastically predicting from the stands.

But current Bayern Munich boss, Ancelotti, is not shocked by the defender's recent heroics in front of goal after working with him for two years at the Bernabeu.
As well as complimenting the skipper on his attitude, he revealed he often teased Ramos with the idea of playing him upfront.
Speaking to AS Diario, Ancelotti said: "He continues to score miraculous goals. He does it because he has quality in front of goal.
"In fact, he could easily have been a forward. I sometimes joked with him, telling him I was going to pick him at centre-forward.

Ancelotti also said his favourite moment as Real Madrid boss was winning the Champions League in extra time, beating Atletico Madrid 4-1, which relied on a 93rd-minute equaliser from Ramos.
The Bayern boss added: "I think that final was my best moment at Real Madrid.
"We won the most important trophy that we'd set ourselves as an objective.
"We'd done really well until December, then we had problems with injured players, but fortunately we were able to lift the Champions League."
