BRADLEY LOWERY got another Christmas after Watford skipper Troy Deeney sent the awe-inspiring young cancer sufferer a card from the Premier League side.

The brave five-year-old was the star of Wednesday night’s match between his beloved Mackems and Chelsea as he scored a half-time penalty and won the hearts of football fans all over the world, leading to the terminally ill child receiving 28,000 Xmas cards.

And the phenomenal pile of well wishes grew to 28,001 when Deeney met with Sunderland’s star striker Jermain Defoe before their game on Saturday and handed over an envelope for the former Spurs striker to pass on to the youngster.

Over £700,000 was raised to pay for treatment in the USA, including a donation of £200,000 from Everton, but he was tragically told by doctors that his cancer has spread and is inoperable.

The football-crazy fan is now continuing with radiotherapy and looking forward to a wonderful festive period with his family after Sunderland paid for him to visit Harry Potter world.
