Former England winger could be set for move back to his first club as Hornets eye cut-price £5million deal next month

ASHLEY YOUNG is wanted by SIX Premier League clubs - including former side Watford.

The versatile Manchester United star has made just nine appearances for Jose Mourinho this season.

And a number of clubs are looking at landing the former England international for just £5million next month.

Watford, Young's first club, are among those interested - along with West Brom, Everton, Burnley, Hull and Swansea.

Young, 31, is a winger by preference but has been used largely as a makeshift full-back in the last two seasons.

His attitude has repeatedly been praised by Mourinho despite his lack of game time and the United boss could still be unwilling to let the player leave.
The ex-Aston Villa star joined the club for £17m in 2011 and has 18 months remaining on his Old Trafford contract.
Young will be tempted to quit United with the promise of more first-team football – but will have to take a sizable cut in his £100k-a-week wages.
