THE likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham have been spreading the Christmas cheer by visiting children spending the holidays in hospital.
Many young fans miss out on celebrating at home but teams across the country have been trying to ensure they have a Christmas they’ll never forget.
Premier League leaders Chelsea popped their heads in at Westminster Hospital, with Antonio Conte playing the role of Santa as he handed out presents to the delighted kids.
David Luiz made sure it was an entertaining visit for one child as the youngster grabbed hold of his hair.
Cesc Fabregas, Pedro and Willian were also on hand to ensure smiles all round, but they weren’t the only team doing the same thing that day.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba led the way as United also handed out presents at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, with Tottenham also joining in the action at Whittington Hospital and Whipps Cross Hospital.
Marouane Fellaini and Anthony Martial posed for photos with the star-struck children, with the likes of Christian Eriksen and Hugo Lloris representing Spurs.

Meanwhile, players from Newcastle and Aston Villa also joined in at the RVI Great North Children’s Hospital and Birmingham City Centre Children’s Hospital respectively.
But one young Everton fan received the shock of his life when hero Seamus Coleman turned up at his HOUSE to wish him a Merry Christmas – and hand over a few presents too.
