JOE HART is the man Liverpool want to end their goalkeeping crisis.

The Manchester City and England man is on a season-long loan at Serie A side Torino, after Pep Guardiola landed at the Etihad and forced him out over a perceived lack of quality with the ball at his feet.

Claudio Bravo was brought in from Barcelona and has hardly justified the brutality of Hart’s hasty exit and claim Jurgen Klopp is ready to give the 29-year-old a second Premier League chance.

After a nightmare debut in the 2-1 defeat to Atalanta on the opening day of the Italian top-flight season, Hart’s form and reputation grew steadily and he kept two in clean sheets against Malta and Slovenia in the international break in October.

December has been a grim month for the former Shrewsbury man, however, as he has conceded 10 goals in just three games.

In his final game before beginning the winter break other European clubs enjoy, Hart was stunned by a nine-minute Dries Martens hat-trick in the 5-3 defeat to Napoli.

Klopp recently dropped summer signing Loris Karius after a number of blunders and stinging criticism from both Gary and Phil Neville.

Simon Mignolet has been promoted for the last two games and he has grabbed his chance with two hands – surprisingly – with two clean sheets in away wins against Middlesbrough and Everton.

A permanent transfer looks unlikely, with Hart earning £120,000-a-week at City until 2019 and Liverpool unwilling to match that.

But a loan move to the Kop is a viable option unless Sunderland are relegated at the end of this season and they pick excellent England keeper Jordan Pickford up for a bargain.
