TONI KROOS is spending Christmas in London, fuelling speculation that he could make a surprise January move to Chelsea.
The Real Madrid midfielder uploaded a photo on Instagram of himself standing outside Hamley's toy store yesterday.
And the previous day he posed with his son enjoying Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park.
La Liga's top footballers have been enjoying winter breaks away from the game, with most going to their home countries to be with their families.
But Kroos' choice of holiday destination will do nothing to quieten rumours that he could leave the Bernabeu next month.
Juventus were believed to be the frontrunners for the German's signature, with boss Max Allegri hoping to make him the club's new Andrea Pirlo.
But a move to Stamford Bridge could be a possibility, with Kroos previously expressing an interest in joining the club before ultimately choosing Real Madrid.
In 2014, he told Die Welt that Chelsea were one of the biggest clubs in the world and the only English side he would consider moving to.
He said: "[Real] Madrid, Bayern [Munich], Barcelona and Chelsea are the four biggest clubs at the moment, so I would only have swapped one for another."
It is not known how long Kroos will be staying in the capital for, but it will certainly be interesting to see if he makes an appearance at Chelsea's match with Bournemouth tomorrow, or indeed another London club's Boxing Day clash.
Antonio Conte is known to be targeting a creative midfielder to replace Oscar, who moved to Shanghai SIPG for a whopping £60m.
James Rodriguez was believed to be the club's top target and is so desperate to leave Real Madrid that he even visited the British Embassy in Bogota to reportedly apply for a visa.

But the Blues have been put off by Real Madrid's £60m valuation of the Colombian.
Axel Witsel was another top target for Chelsea but he has agreed to join Juventus and told Conte that nothing will change his mind.
Kroos has recently signed a contract with Los Blancos until 2022 and clubs will have to pay a hefty £74m if they want to tempt Florentino Perez to sell.
