Harry Redknapp will look to sign Chelsea captain John Terry and ex-Blue Frank Lampard if he bags Swansea job

HARRY REDKNAPP would bring in John Terry AND Frank Lampard if he got the Swansea job.

The Welsh club are on the lookout for a new boss after sacking Bob Bradley after just 11 games, and former Spurs boss Redknapp has thrown his hat into the ring.

Following him to Wales could be Lampard. His contract with New York City has ended and he is a free agent. He has also expressed a desire to continue playing until the end of the season.

Swansea have conceded more goals, 41, than any other team in the Premier League. And while Terry may not be getting any younger at 36, his experience could prove vital for a relegation scrap.

yesterday, Redknapp threw his hat into the ring for the Swansea job.

He said: “It sounds interesting – it sounds a challenge.

“Swansea are a good club and it would be a tough challenge, but a good challenge.

“It’s a great club – where they’ve come from and what they’ve done, and the atmosphere there is absolutely fantastic.

“It’s a tough job for someone but it’s not an impossible one – I still think they’ve got a chance of staying up.

“It’s going to be tight, but they’ve still got a chance.”

But with Redknapp's history of dragging clubs clear from the relegation trapdoor, his experience could prove him a worthy contender.
