GERVINHO has revealed he earns a staggering £130,000 goal bonus and a £50,000 appearance fee in the Chinese Super League.
The sensational numbers bandied about show just why so many players at the top of their game are flocking to the Far East.

But, as former Arsenal man, Gervinho, who earns around £165,000-a-week, explains — it’s not just the basic wage which is absolutely mind-blowing.
The Ivorian left Roma to join Hebei China Fortune in March, and revealed: “I earn just under £130,000 net just for scoring.
“And, on top of that, I get around £50,000 for every match I play.
“In Europe, it is inconceivable — even at Real Madrid.”
While it is unlikely the world’s elite stars, such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, would ever pack up and move to China at the peak of their careers, it is clear that just a season in the Far East would set a player up financially for the rest of his life.
