Manchester United 2 Middlesbrough 1: Usain Bolt incredibly calls MUTV after United’s last-gasp victory… and nobody believes it is actually him

USAIN BOLT was so happy with Manchester United’s comeback win over Middlesbrough that he PHONED IN on MUTV after the game.

And the post-match show’s hapless presenters did not even realise it was the Olympic sprint legend on the other end of the line!

Bolt, 30, is a big Red Devils fans and has long expressed his desire to one day play for Jose Mourinho’s side.

The nine-time gold medallist tuned into the New Year’s Eve clash at Old Trafford clash from his native Jamaica.

And after Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba netted in the last five minutes to snatch the three points from stunned Boro he was typically fast to call in to the Match Day Review programme to praise the side.

In the bizarre clip, presenter Mandy Henry jokes: “Our next caller is in Jamaica – we’re heading over there to speak to Usain. It’s not Usain Bolt is it?”

But when the global superstar confirms that it IS actually him – Henry does not believe him.

And confused pundits Gordon McQueen and Lou Macari just listened on silently.

On a poor line, Bolt said: “It is Usain Bolt, it is Mr Bolt.”

And when he got no reaction, the sprint king - who yesterday claimed he is so fast he is “already in 2017” – awkwardly continued: “They persevered, the Manchester United way. It was a great match, I’m happy, very happy.”

Bolt later Tweeted to confirm it WAS him on the show.

He wrote: “Come on lad of course it was me on @ManUtd TV just now.”

Embarrassed Henry then apologised: “Sorry Usain - we didn't think it was you! Enjoy your celebrations in Jamaica & call again after West Ham on Monday night!”

We wouldn’t count on it Mandy.
