Derby bid £2.5million for Nottingham Forest captain Henri Lansbury… with Stan Collymore saying it will be a ‘disgrace’ if the midfielder is allowed to leave

FORMER Nottingham Forest striker Stan Collymore has said it would be a "disgrace" if the club accepts Derby's £2.5million for captain Henri Lansbury.
Rams boss Steve McClaren has made the first move for Lansbury with a string of clubs interested in the midfielder who has yet to sign a new deal at Forest.
The Derby boss wants to boost his squad’s promotion push in the second half of the season.

But former Forest man Collymore believes selling such an integral player would be the worst possible decision by the Championship outfit.

He expressed this sentiment with on Twitter. It would certainly stir up tension between the fierce East Midlands rivals.
McClaren did not rule out a move for Lansbury when asked about the player last week.
He said: ”I’ve heard so many clubs are after him. We’re only across the road and so we’re bound to be one of them.”
McClaren also wants Chris Martin back from his loan spell at Fulham.
Birmingham City boss Gianfranco Zola is also interested in Lansbury. who has scored six goals in 19 games this season and was named Sky Bet Championship player of the month for November.
Forest are in the middle of a takeover by American John Jay Moores.
