West Brom vs Hull team news: Hal Robson-Kanu drops back to the bench as Salomon Rondon returns to face the Tigers

WEST BROM boss Tony Pulis has restored striker Salomon Rondon to the team at Hal Robson-Kanu's expense.

Robson-Kanu scored in the 2-1 win at Southampton on Saturday to see the Baggies move into eighth, but is back on the bench for the clash against bottom-side Hull.

Fellow striker Saido Berahino again misses out as he continues to improve his fitness.

James Morrison also comes back into the team at the expense of Alan Nyom. Chris Brunt will switch to full-back.

Mike Phelan has made two changes for Hull. Sam Clucas and Tom Huddlestone come in for Andrew Robertson and David Meyler respectively.

Pulis said of Robson-Kanu: "I keep telling people, with these 25-man squads it's the people outside the 11 that actually determine the spirit and togetherness in the dressing room.

"Hal's willingness to work and join in, even though he's only been almost a bit-part player, because of Salomon, has been fantastic. I can't speak more highly of his character. He's just so wholehearted."

Hull manager Mike Phelan has no new injury or suspension concerns.

He said: "Credit to all the players at this football club - they're all putting a real shift in. They're training hard, they're listening and they're learning.

"They've got everything to look forward to, which is to progress up this league, and we've got a real battle on our hands in the second half of the season, but I think we're up for it."
