Sofiane Feghouli red card for tackle on Phil Jones – did Mike Dean make the right call?
Should the West Ham star have walked for this challenge on the Red Devils defender?
SOFIANE FEGHOULI was sent off for this challenge on Phil Jones - but did referee Mike Dean make the right call?
The West Ham star challenged the Old Trafford defender during the first-half flashpoint at the London Stadium.
Feghouli had lost control of his dribbling run when Jones charged in in the 15th minute.
The Algerian attacker then went in with both feet and make contact with the England centre-back after the ball had been cleared.
But Feghouli's legs appeared to go underneath Jones and there were accusations on twitter that Jones' reaction forced the hand of Dean.
Gary Neville said: "Think of the red card two-footed sending off we have seen – it’s not one of those.
"It’s a poor decision and the West Ham fans are letting Mike Dean know."
And one twitter user wrote: "Very harsh decision on Feghouli. Yellow card all day!"
Another said: "Surely that's a bad tackle ON Feghouli from jones? Ref had a shocker."
But what do you think? Should Feghouli have been sent off?
