Sam Allardyce won’t give Paul Clement any advice until after Crystal Palace’s relegation six-pointer against Swansea
Clement was in line for a coaching job under Allardyce with England and is set to take over at the Liberty Stadium
SAM ALLARDYCE is refusing to pass on the secrets of his success to his pal Paul Clement as he prepares to take the Swansea job.
Clement was in line for a coaching role with England before Allardyce was controversially forced to quit in September.
Palace face Swansea at Selhurst Park but Big Sam will keep relations cordial as Clement prepares to take over at the Liberty Stadium.

Allardyce said: “I’m not going to shell out any advice now.
“I don’t want to give him anything he might be able to use. We’ll talk after the game by which time, hopefully, we’ve won.
“It is down to his coaching, organisation and the experience he’s gained as Carlo Ancelotti’s assistant at Real Madrid that he’s going into that position.”
Allardyce has been in charge of Palace for two games and admits it is no time for any nerves among his players.
The Eagles drew their opening game at Watford but Arsenal beat them 2-0 on New Year’s Day.
Big Sam admitted: “Swansea is a massive game for the nerves of our players. They have to control them because everybody expects us to win on the basis that Swansea are struggling.
“We’re struggling but they’re struggling really badly. When they’ve let in goals, they’ve conceded three or four.
“People are expecting us to go out and thrash Swansea, which won’t be the case. We’d like to beat them by more than two goals but we have to produce our best performance.
“We should have won against Watford, which was a massive disappointment as it was two points thrown away. It’s a concern because those extra points would have been a great comfort.”
