Giroud, 30, has been mostly down the pecking order for Arsene Wenger's side this season, but he has scored some crucial goals, including a late equaliser for Arsenal in their 1-1 draw against United at Old Trafford.

But he came back and scored in his next outing, a thrilling 3-2 win at Ludogorets, as well as the 2-2 draw with PSG at the Emirates.
