Everton transfer news: Charlton teen sensation Ademola Lookman to travel to Merseyside for Toffees medical
England Under-20s winger set for Goodison as Ronald Koeman beats Liverpool and Arsenal to £11million signing
TEEN sensation Ademola Lookman is travelling to Merseyside today to complete a medical at Everton.
The winger will be Ronald Koeman’s first signing of the January transfer window after the Toffees agreed an £11million fee with Charlton.
Lookman, 19, has not featured for the Addicks in their last two games as boss Karl Robinson revealed he did not want to risk the player’s “dream” move.

The Liverpool-born manager said: “He could have left in the summer and he chose to stay.
“I had the same thing with Dele Alli [at MK Dons]. He turned down a few moves in one window and it got to Christmas and the kid was so scared of tackles.
“He became a marked man, I saw players purposely try to kick him.

“I’ve moaned since day one about him needed protection. I can’t watch a kid’s dream go.”
Lookman has shone since breaking into the first team at the Valley at the end of last season.
The England Under-20 international – who the Addicks plucked from non-league Waterloo FC in 2014 – has since made 45 appearances the club in the Championship and now in League One.
His combination of pace and trickery has seen him net seven goals for the crisis-club in the third tier this season.

Everton have beaten Liverpool and Arsenal to add Lookman – who is considered one of the brightest young talents in English football.
Charlton were hopeful Koeman would agree to loan the starlet back for the rest of the season.
But it is believed he will be part of the first-team squad at Goodison following the injury to Yannick Bolasie.
