ODION IGHALO could partner Carlos Tevez up front for Shanghai Shenhua, according to Sky Sports.
The Watford striker has been linked to the Chinese Super League for the third time after previously rejecting moves to Hebei China Fortune and Shanghai SIPG.
Now the Nigerian is the subject of interest from Shenhua, who last week made Tevez the world's highest paid player, with a £615,000-a-week contract.

Ighalo scored 15 Premier League goals last season and was the highest scorer in English football in 2015.
That prompted Shanghai SIPG to make an astonishing £38m bid which was rejected by Watford when the striker decided he didn't want a move to the Far East and was handed a new five-year-contract.
But both the club and the player may decide a change of scenery is for the best as Ighalo has scored just one goal this season.
He left Hornets fans in disbelief in September when he missed an open goal in a 3-1 win over Man United.
The Chinese Super League has made a clear statement this January, with Tevez's transfer coming just after Oscar moved to Shanghai SIPG for £60m.
And Belgium star Axel Witsel incredibly spurned Juventus for newly promoted Tianjin Quanjian, saying: "There was a crucial offer for my family that I couldn’t turn down."
Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel is the latest player set to move East and is currently undergoing a medical with Tianjin TEDA after agreeing a £140,000-a-week deal.
