SAM ALLARDYCE was left frustrated on his return to Bolton as his Crystal Palace could only muster a drab, goalless draw against a team two divisions below them.
The Eagles boss, 62, is something of a cult hero at the Macron Stadium having been a massive figure as both a player and manager.
However, he had to settle for a goalless draw as his Premier League troops failed to find the net against their League 1 opposition.
