Chelsea star Pedro shockingly hits the bar from four yards out against Peterborough and Blues fans can’t believe it
Spaniard gets on the scoresheet before fluffing a far easier chance to make it 2-0
PEDRO is having a mixed afternoon for Chelsea against Peterborough in the FA Cup today, with one beautiful goal and one horror miss.
The Spaniard put his side 1-0 up after 18 minutes when he brilliantly followed up Nathaniel Chalobah's effort, beat a Posh defender and fired into the top right hand corner.
But things didn't go quite to plan later in the half when Ruben Loftus-Cheek squared the ball to seemingly lay a second on the plate for the former Barcelona man.
On the verge of scoring an identical goal to his first from closer range, Pedro once against beat a Peterborough defender, shifted the ball onto his right foot and fired towards the top corner from just two yards out.
Although this time he leaned back too far and left Chelsea fans in disbelief as the ball cannoned off the bar.
Antonio Conte named a blend of first team stars and fringe players such as Nathaniel Chalobah, Michy Batshuayi and ... John Terry.
And so far the rotation players who have come into the side have given their manager something to think about with Michy Batshuayi making it 2-0 just before half time.
