JOHN TERRY will be staying put at Chelsea for the rest of the season as Swansea joined the race to sign the veteran defender.
Bournemouth made a cheeky enquiry about taking the Blues’ captain on loan until May and it has now emerged that Premier League strugglers Swansea are also interested in trying to lure him on a temporary deal.
But Terry, 36, will not be leaving Chelsea before the end of this season at least even though his contract expires then and he is down the pecking order for first team places.
A source close to the former England skipper said: “John is concentrating solely on being available when required by Chelsea for the rest of this season.”
New Swans boss Paul Clement knows Terry from his time as a coach at Chelsea and wants fresh faces to try to help his team climb away from the Premier League relegation zone.
