Valencia director Jose Ramon Alesanco takes budget Ryanair flight to Milan to discuss Simone Zaza transfer with Juventus
La Liga club forced to keep pinching the pennies boss and former winger Vicente Rodriguez jetted to Italy to discuss deal
VALENCIA director Jose Ramon Alesanco flew into Italy today to discuss the transfer of Simone Zaza from Juventus to the Mestalla... with budget airline Ryanair.
The Spanish club chief is hoping to land the Italian forward - currently enduring a horror loan spell at West Ham - in the current window, but will face competition from parent club Juve.
However, La Liga giants Valencia are struggling financially and staring relegation in the face as Cesare Prandelli quit the club after just ten games.

And clearly the club are concerned about the state of their finances as they flew Alesanco - and former winger Vicente Rodriguez - with no-frills Ryanair.
The pair were spotted on the flight by fellow passenger Raul Arias Lopez and tweeted out by Paco Polit.
The translated post reads: "@Ralmaria took these pictures. Alesanco and Vicente on a flight from Valencia to Milan this morning. You know..."
The move would be a bonus for not only Los Che, but also Zaza, 25, who has struggled mightily at the London Stadium, with his father saying the player never wanted to move to the Hammers anyway.
The Italian has made 12 appearances for the club in all competitions and is yet to score a single goal, being booked twice in the process.
Zaza hasn't played for Slaven Bilic's side since November 30, in the 4-1 EFL Cup loss at the hands of Manchester United.
It would now appear he is destined to leave, with even Valencia hoping to land a cut-price - or loan - deal in any way they can, even if they can't afford a cushy business class flight.
Valencia are now under the leadership of Salvador Gonzalez Marco - or Voro - following Prandelli's exit, with the club languishing in 17th place in La Liga.
Voro, who has been caretaker manager of Valencia on five occasions, is tasked with keeping the club in the top flight.
Valencia director, Jesus Garcia Pitarch told MARCA: “Voro will now take over the team, training and preparing them in the best way.
“We aren’t looking for a coach and I haven’t proposed one.
“We will now listen to Voro. The sporting and transfer decisions are made by three people — Lim, the coach and the sporting director.”
