MANCHESTER UNITED fans have raised thousands of pounds to pay for the funeral of a lifelong fan who died watching his heroes at West Ham.
'True gentleman' Ronnie Greenwood, 71, collapsed in the stands during the Premier League clash at London Stadium on Monday night last week and was later pronounced dead in hospital.
Old Trafford supporters calling themselves the "Manchester United Family" set up a and by Thursday evening this week had collected around £4,500 of their £6,000 target.

Ronnie lived all his life in Rochdale, just a few miles from Old Trafford.
And the reported tributes from fans and friends.
Neighbour Marilyn Dearden, 67. who helped Ronnie with gardening in the communal area of their flats, told the : "He was such a lovely man and always on the go.
“He was a true fan. He was always at games and if he couldn’t make it to the game he would be watching it on television.
"He really was through and through."
Around £3,000 was raised on the day was set up.
And Marilyn added: “He was a gentleman in every sense of the word. Very kind and thoughtful but never wanted to be in the limelight.
“He would do anything for anybody and helped us all with the gardening. He will be greatly missed around here.”
United beat the 10-man Hammers 2-0.
