Leeds announced Taylor would not be sold then and Monk has reiterated the club stance stating no player will be heading for the Elland Road exit door this month.

Monk said: "We do not have to sell anyone and we won’t be selling anyone, it will only be incomings and no one leaving in this window.”

Taylor won't feature against Derby at Elland Road tonight due to injury as the Yorkshire side look to chase down Newcastle United and Brighton in the automatic promotion spots.

The United academy product has made 25 appearances this term, breaking into the first team set up three years ago following loan stints in the lower league with Fleetwood, York and Bradford.
