ARSENAL players trained in the snow at London Colney as the weather continued to bite across the country.

Wrapped up in hats, scarves and gloves, Arsene Wenger's team larked about on a freezing morning.

Wenger confirmed that a quartet of players are in line to return against Swansea.

Petr Cech, Laurent Koscielny and contract rebels Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez were all rested for the unimpressive win over Preston in the FA Cup last weekend.

They are all likely to start.

Hector Bellerin and Francis Coquelin are still out, they could return as early as next week.

Danny Welbeck, who played his first game since last April against Preston will continue his recovery, is not likely to start.

He was pictured throwing a snowball on the cold morning - while Per Mertesacker, who is yet to play a game this morning, was also snapped having a laugh.

The Arsenal squad appeared to be in good spirits at training.

After finishing, Theo Walcott posted a picture of him and Mertesacker of the pair of them doing their trademark jumping celebration.

He wrote: "Will be seeing this more soon!"

Wenger said that Walcott was still a couple of weeks away.

"Walcott is still out," said the Gunners boss.

"He is one of the players who doesn’t come back. But he was not rested last week, he was injured.

"He is now out for three-and-a-half weeks, and I think he will not be available for Burnley [January 22].

"He will need another week, two more weeks."
