And he gave a taste of what Jose Mourinho could be missing with this stunner on his first day under Ronald Koeman.

Those skills came as new fellow new signing Ademola Lookman took a time out with striker Romelu Lukaku.

The pair sat down against a wall and looked at ease in each other's company ahead of their game against Manchester City on Sunday lunchtime.

Lookman, 19, arrives at Goodison from Charlton with an £11m price tag on his head.

But he has insisted he is ready for the massive step up to the Premier League and has stated it is his "dream" to play under Koeman.

The England Under-20 international signed a four-and-a-half year deal that will keep him at the club until 2021.

Meanwhile, Schneiderlin has said he holds no grudges against Mourinho, despite being frozen out of the side at Old Trafford.

He said: "It was an honour for me to play for such a great club.

"I worked all my life for this. My experiences at Southampton gave me the chance to play for Man United.

"I was expecting to do some big things there, but it didn’t happen for some reason.

"That's football you have to move on. Now, this is the next step in my career and I would like to thank everyone at Man United.

"But now is a new chapter of my life and I will give my best at Everton."
