BARCELONA superstar Neymar is the most valuable player in the world.
A study conducted by the CIES Football Observatory claims the Brazilian is worth more than any other footballer in the game – including Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi.
Figures are calculated using an econometric model which takes the player’s age, performances, contract length and various other factors into account.
And as a result, Neymar should command the highest transfer fee right now at a staggering £217million.
That’s a whole £67m more than Messi, who is second in the list at £150m.
