Arsenal transfer news: Juventus propose Alex Sanchez swap deal with Miralem Pjanic going other way
Turin-based newspaper TuttoSport report Serie A leaders step up pursuit of Chilean, as contract talks continue to stall
JUVENTUS have upped the stakes in their pursuit of Alexis Sanchez by offering Arsenal target Miralem Pjanic in exchange, according to reports in Italy.
The super Chilean has yet to sign a new deal at the Emirates, and there are growing concerns he may be seeking a move away from North London.
Arsene Wenger, meanwhile, has made Pjanic one of his top summer targets.

And report Juventus will use the talented Bosnian as a bargaining chip to sign Sanchez.
The Bianconeri are on course for a sixth successive Serie A title — and spent £75million in the summer on strengthening their attack with the signing of Gonzalo Higuain.
However, while they are still in first place, Max Allegri and his players have already lost four times in the league, and it is only the inconsistency of their rivals that should see them over the line at the end of the season.

He was sensational for Roma, and his summer move to Turin caused massive controversy, but was overshadowed by the Higuain saga.
At 26, Pjanic is the right age bracket for the Gunners.
He is excellent with the ball at his feet and a brilliant playmaker who could be the perfect replacement for Santi Cazorla, and would fit in perfectly with Arsenal’s unique style of play in the Premier League.
