ALEXIS SANCHEZ stole a 98th-minute victory for Arsenal as an incredible Emirates finale saw TWO injury-time penalties netted.
Ten-man Gunners thought Granit Xhaka's red card had cost them when Andre Gray netted to cancel out Shkodran Mustafi's first goal for the club.
But Sanchez kept his cool from the spot deep in stoppage time, after a furious Arsene Wenger was sent to the stands for pushing fourth official Anthony Taylor in a frenzied finish.

Clarets boss Sean Dyche was also livid to see a spot-kick awarded against his side - with Laurent Koscielny offside in the area before Ben Mee was penalised for kicking him in the face.
Wenger was given his marching orders by Jon Moss for his reaction to seeing a penalty given at the other end when Francis Coquelin tripped Ashley Barnes.
Germany defender Mustafi netted the opener by rising to meet a Mesut Ozil corner at the near post and nod past Tom Heaton.
But Xhaka's mindless two-footed lunge on Steven Defour made for a nervy finale for the hosts, who pulled through for their seventh win in ten Prem games.
Dean Marney suffered a bad injury with 15 minutes left and had to be carried off on a stretcher.
FACTS, STATS, GOALS & LOLS
- SHKODRAN MUSTAFI has not lost in his 21 appearances for Arsenal and the £35million German ensured he maintained that proud record when he headed the Gunners ahead with his first goal for the club.
- GRANIT XHAKA’s 64th minute red card means he has now been sent-off nine times in the last two-and-a-half years. The Swiss midfielder was also dismissed by ref Jon Moss against Swansea in October and will now serve a four-match ban.
- SEAN DYCHE was taking charge of his 200th match as Burnley manager. Arsene Wenger and Eddie Howe, who Dyche replaced at Turf Moor in October 2012, are the only Premier League bosses to have been longer in their job.
- ALEXIS SANCHEZ was handed Arsenal’s Player of the Month award for December ahead of kick-off. Probably a wise decision given the Chilean’s habit of taking offence at every perceived snub.
- HE might not look that hard but while everyone else at the Emirates was wrapped up against the winter freeze, Arsene Wenger wasn’t even wearing a coat as he toughed it out on the sidelines.
- IT was quite a surprise when Wenger selected Gabriel ahead of the fit-again Hector Bellerin at right-back. Arsenal really missed the young Spaniard’s ability to get forward and stretch Burnley’s solid back four.
- BURNLEY left-back Stephen Ward is a player best described as ‘whole-hearted’. He thundered into every challenge as though his life depended on it. Mind you, the same could be said for most of his team-mates.
- THERE was understandable concern when Petr Cech took a boot to the head from Andre Gray as he dived bravely at the striker’s feet. Fortunately the keeper was OK to continue after treatment.
- ONE Emirates banner declares ‘football should be an art’ but this was more like watching paint dry for long periods of the game.
- IT is not hard to see why Burnley are fighting so hard to keep hold of centre-half Michael Keane. The former Manchester United defender was once again as solid as a rock.
WHAT THEY SAID
Arsene Wenger: "I didn't see any penalty from outside but I should have shut up and I apologise, even if I was frustrated.
"We couldn't get the second goal, we played with 10 men and they played well as well. In the end we got the three points we wanted."
Sean Dyche: "It's a tough day for us in the end. To lose a game in that fashion, with an offside not given is tough, particularly when you come to tough places like this.
"We never take anything for granted. We know how tough this division is but you need officials to make the right decisions and that is the shame today.
"They have to be brave have officials at places like this, I understand that, but you've got to think it has to be given [offside]."
