Stoke transfer news: Charlie Adam a shock target for Turkish giants Fenerbahce
Potters boss unlikely to be willing to let Adam to leave though after Scottish midfielder won place back
CHARLIE ADAM is reportedly the subject of interest from Fenerbahce.
Dick Advocaat is a long-term admirer of the Stoke midfielder - exiled by his country.
The Dutch boss had Adam in his ranks when he was in charge of Rangers and was keen on taking him to Sunderland.
Now, according to an report, the 31-year is wanted by the Turkish giants, now bossed by Advocaat.
But a number of Premier League clubs are also keeping tabs on Adam's situation.
The former Blackpool and Liverpool player had a year left to run on his four-year contract when he agreed a fresh one in June 2015.
That deal takes him through to the summer of 2017, when Stoke will have the option of whether to extend it for another year.
Adam has made 18 appearances for the Potters this season.
He had to make do with being named as a substitute for Mark Hughes' side through much of Stoke's shaky start.
But he got his place back in October, helping to bring about an upturn in Premier League form.
They were still in the drop zone after eight games but are now sitting pretty in ninth.
