Cristiano Ronaldo and girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez abandon £260,000 Lamborghini Aventador and head to hospital because of Real Madrid star’s wrist pain on ski trip
CRISTIANO RONALDO was forced to ABANDON his £260,000 Lamborghini Aventador and head to hospital - because wrist pain left him unable to drive.
The Real Madrid superstar, 31, was heading home from a ski trip with girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez when he was forced to pull over and hop in an ambulance.
Ronaldo had been on the way home after a day at the ski resort of Navacerrada, 37 miles north of Madrid, with Georgina on Monday.
According to Spanish website , sudden wrist pain forced Ronaldo into parking the supercar on a roundabout.
Police and roadside assistance were notified before Ronaldo was taken away in an ambulance - a tow truck later removed the car.
There has been no word from either Cristiano Ronaldo or Real Madrid, while the police and ambulance service have not yet commented either.
Ronaldo wore heavy strapping on his right wrist in Saturday's 2-1 win over Malaga at the Bernabeu.
The forward was whistled and booed by some fans during the game, with the Ballon d'Or winner somewhat struggling compared to his usual lofty standards.
Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane was reluctant to be drawn on the issue.
