The French duo are close friends when on international duty and could be linking up at Old Trafford next summer
JOSE MOURINHO is using Paul Pogba as bait to lure Antoine Griezmann to Manchester United.
Reports claim Mourinho is desperate to bring Atletico Madrid ace Griezmann to Old Trafford next summer in a bid to bolster his attack.
The French striker is considered to be one of the best around and would certainly be an improvement on some of United’s current forwards.
Atletico have no intention of selling, but the claims Griezmann could end up pushing for the move himself after being contacted by compatriot Pogba EVERY day.
The current world-record signing would love his international teammate to join him in England, and Mourinho is encouraging talks between the pair ahead of a summer bid.
United have the funds to make a move happen but also need Griezmann to ruffle some feathers his end.
However, the 25-year-old already appears to have United in his sights after allegedly agreeing his shirt number and wages with club chiefs.
Griezmann’s brother has also fuelled speculation by posting a number of cryptic messages on social media hinting at the deal.

There is sure to be interest from other clubs but Pogba’s influence could sway it in United’s favour.
