Hull City players wear Ryan Mason on back of their shirts for warm up against Manchester United in support of midfielder
The 25-year-old has been recovering in hospital after suffering a serious head injury after a clash with Chelsea's Gary Cahill on Sunday
HULL CITY's players united in their support of team-mate Ryan Mason on Thursday.
The team all took to the pitch for their warm-up for their EFL Cup semi-final second leg against Manchester United wearing shirts with Mason's name on the back.
It was a touching gesture to the 25-year-old midfielder, who is recovering in hospital from his head injury sustained against Chelsea.
Mason was paid a visit by Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino on Thursday at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington.
It was under Pochettino at Spurs where Mason played his first Premier League game before joining Hull last year.
Mason required surgery after a sickening clash of heads with Blues skipper Gary Cahill and remains in a stable condition as he recovers in hospital.
