Pep Guardiola reveals Manchester City cap’n Vincent Kompany WILL return from injury hell this weekend after two months out

PEP GUARDIOLA is ready to plunge Vincent Kompany back into action – at the scene of his last injury nightmare.
The Belgian international is fit again after two months out with knee ligament damage and is expected to start Manchester City‘s FA Cup quarter final at Crystal Palace.
It was at Selhurst Park in late November where Kompany was injured – in a collision with his own keeper Claudio Bravo.

He was an unused substitute in the draw with Tottenham last week and Guardiola has no concerns about using him.
He said: “He is fit, he is ready. I don’t know if he’ll start. We will see tomorrow but he is fit, he is ready.
“Last game was on the bench. That means he is fit. When they are on the bench it is because they can start ”
Guardiola is also tempted to give a start to new boy Gabriel Jesus, who dazzled in his brief cameo against Spurs.
He added: “He is fit, he is not injured. He is already three weeks with us so we are going to see tomorrow.”
The City boss confirmed he will give under-fire keeper Bravo a rest and revert to Willy Caballero – as they have tended to do in domestic cup matches.
