Lincoln City’s Conor McGregor lookalike Alan Power imitates UFC star’s strut after equaliser against Brighton
Power scored from the penalty spot in Red Imps' dramatic 3-1 FA Cup win over Championship leaders
LINCOLN CITY were helped to one of the upsets of the FA Cup Fourth Round by a man who looks strikingly like Conor McGregor.
And Alan Power imitated the UFC star's strut after scoring the equalising penalty in the Red Imps' 3-1 win.
Brighton looked set for a routine win in the first half when Richie Towell ran onto Glenn Murray's knockdown and scored a chip.
But Lincoln fought back with Power converting a 57th minute penalty after Murray hauled down his man in the box.
Chelsea loanee Fikayo Tomori then stunningly put the Red Imps in front before Theo Robinson rounded off the win in the 85th minute.
Conor McGregor has dominated two UFC divisions and is currently on an extended break from the sport as he prepares to become a father.
The Crumlin grappler turned down a mega bucks offer to appear at WWE's flagship event Wrestlemania.
A source said: “WWE has made no secret of its desire to do something with Conor McGregor and there were talks between the two parties about this year.
“Because he’s taking time off from the UFC, there was a talk about doing something at this year’s Wrestlemania in April, but it wasn’t to be despite a hefty offer.”
