SOUTHAMPTON have agreed a £17m deal for Napoli striker Manolo Gabbiadini - sparking a transfer deadline day domino effect involving Jay Rodriguez.
Saints have beaten off a host of clubs including West Ham and Everton to land Italy international Gabbiadini, 25.
The south coast side will pay £14m up front with the rest dependant on appearance-related add ons.
Gabbiadini will net a four-year deal worth £40,000-a-week at St Mary's.
