Hull are aiming to complete a deadline day swoop for Bournemouth winger Max Gradel – but have been denied Cherries defender Marc Wilson.
The Tigers were keen on Gradel in the summer but the Ivory Coast international was desperate to fight for his Vitality Stadium place.
But the former Leeds and Leicester man has made just five Premier League appearances this season all from the bench before enduring a torrid time at the African Cup of Nations this month.

Eddie Howe insisted there had not been any bids for Gradel but admitted: “Max hasn’t had a lot of game time with us so we will reflect and try and make the right decision for his career.”
The 29-year-0ld has appeared just seven times for the Cherries, whilst also representing the Ivory Coast on five occasions this term.
But he returned to England after the Ivory Coast failed to make it out of their group at the Africa Cup of Nations.
