BOURNEMOUTH have launched a stunning £18million deadline day bid for Nathan Ake, according to reports.
claims Eddie Howe is desperate for a reunion with the Dutchman but SunSport understands that Chelsea have no intention of selling.
Ake has only just returned to Stamford Bridge after his loan spell at the Vitality Stadium was cut short by Antonio Conte.
The Italian gaffer was impressed by Ake's form and ability to play anywhere across the backline.
But despite starting in the FA Cup win over Brentford at the weekend, the Chelsea youngster is wanted for an immediate return to the Cherries.
But Chelsea will not accept Bournemouth’s £18m offer, especially with Branislav Ivanovic's departure to Zenit St Petersburg.
Ake made it clear upon his return to west London that he was ready to fight for a starting spot under Conte.
He made 12 appearances during his recent loan spell with the Cherries, helping himself to three goals in the process.
That convinced Conte to bring him back to Chelsea as cover for Alonso and the back three.
Ake also impressed while at at Watford last season and will now push on in his development as a Chelsea player.
