A talking point, which began hour before kick off, was the news that Sergio Aguero had been dropped to the bench AGAIN by Pep Guardiola to make way for the Brazilian.

Aguero initially settled for a place in the dug out during City’s 4-0 win over West Ham, in which Jesus scored on his full debut at the London Stadium.

The Argentinian forward has been the main man throughout his time at the Etihad but since the teenager arrived from Palmeiras, his role at City is now in doubt.

This has led to Aguero being linked with moves away from Manchester, with Chelsea and Real Madrid both rumoured to be interested.

But despite the transfer speculation swirling around the 28-year-old, Aguero insists he is determined to fight for his place at City.
