POG'S DAB PAD

Paul Pogba buys £2.9million mansion with indoor pool, five luxury bedrooms and games room – and he could buy it outright before the end of the season

PAUL POGBA might be the most expensive footballer of all time - but he will be dabbing like crazy after making a cool £600,000 saving on his new pad.

The Manchester United star, who moved back to Old Trafford in the summer, has been living in the Lowry Hotel for the past six months since his £89million switch from Italian giants Juventus.

But after a lengthy real estate search, the Frenchman has settled on living in this impressive five-bedroom modern build in Cheshire, which he managed to get down from £3.49m to £2.9m after a bit of haggling.

The whole property centres around a stunning swimming pool, which is kitted out with a steam room and a changing area and is separated from the hallway by a pane of glass, making it one of the the first things you see when you walk down the staircase.

A spacious kitchen curves elegantly throughout the rear of the house, with white surface tops and a massive built-in fridge-freezer and an island bar surface to sit and eat at.

Like any French family who like to eat together, Pogba will also have a salubrious dining room area to eat at, but he'll have to watch the food on those cream carpets!

There is also a big living room area with a massive corner sofa for all his mates to come over and watch football.

A swish new mantelpiece forms the focal point of another living room, where a fire can be switched on - but there is not much room there for trophies and medals... if he wins any.

A games room for billiards is also on show upstairs, with space for the obligatory framed jerseys and photographs of his playing exploits.

Elsewhere there are five bedrooms, with the master bedroom leading into a swish dressing room area and en-suite bathroom.

All the other rooms have ensuite bathrooms and there is also a cute study.

And on his 290,000-a-week wage, he could pay off the whole property before the end of the season - while most of us struggle to pay off our mortgages in 25 years or longer!

Pogba, 23, is United's best midfielder, but has struggled with up-and-down form this season.

Manager Jose Mourinho, who is also living in the Lowry Hotel, will hope that Pogba's move closer to the training ground at Carrington, will give his star player more stability after moving back to Manchester.

Pogba was on United's books as a youngster but left for nothing in 2012 for Juventus, where he soon emerged as a midfield star.

United then bought him back last summer for a fee that eclipsed Gareth Bale's £85m transfer from Tottenham to Real Madrid in 2013.

The property has space for three cars and two in the garage, meaning he will have to be selective when he thinks about the number of motors he wants to buy, high security is equipped throughout the house and an electric gate at the front.

Pogba will have to be careful he is not snapped on his phone when driving the short distance to training.

But nothing will stop the midfield star having fun, with his love of dance moves and music no doubt making a big part of his new home.
