West Ham, Middlesbrough and Watford consider £20m move for Atletico Madrid and Ghana star Thomas Partey
Partey impressed during Ghana's run to the African Cup of Nations semi-finals and reportedly has a £20m release clause with Atletico
WEST HAM, Middlesbrough and Watford are reportedly lining up a summer move for Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey.
According to Spanish newspaper , the Ghanaian star has a release clause of just over £20m and would be allowed to leave in the summer.
A trusted member of Diego Simeone's squad last season, he has played just 242 minutes this term.

But the club were unwilling to let him leave during the January window because they were under a transfer embargo.
Partey is normally used in a holding role to help Atletico see out games, but his pace means he can play in a more advanced position when required.
He has been an ever present for Ghana since making his debut in May last year.
Slaven Bilic's Hammers would be among the favourites for Partey's signature if they make their interest concrete, while Middlesbrough are desperate for creative midfield reinforcements after missing out on Jese Rodriguez, who joined Las Palmas.
Watford made an enquiry for the midfielder last January when former Atletico boss Quique Sanchez Flores was in charge and may decide to rekindle their interest.
Manchester United are also said to be plotting a raid on the red half of Madrid for star striker Antoine Griezmann.
But president Enrique Cerezo mockingly said the Frenchman will not join a "small club".
