Mesut Ozil: Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger lays into star’s form after poor performance against Hull

Ozil has gone two months without a goal and has continued his trend of going missing in big games

ARSENE WENGER is concerned about the poor form of contract rebel Mesut Ozil.

“I completely agree that was not technically confident and that is a problem for us because we always think he can deliver something special.”

Ozil, 28, has not scored for more than two months as Arsenal have dropped out of the title race.

Yet he has refused all efforts to get him to agree a new deal, saying he will not sign until he knows if Wenger will still be manager next season.

The former Real Madrid star was slated for his performance in last week's 3-1 defeat at Chelsea.

One incident in particular stuck out, in which Ozil and Alexis Sanchez refused to track back, leaving Nemanja Matic to stroll into the Arsenal half.
