BARCELONA star Lionel Messi has postponed a trip to Egypt's capital Cairo this morning to launch a new campaign for medical tourism.
Barca were thrashed by PSG at Parc des Princes last night and club officials have reportedly advised that he should cancel the trip.
According to the idea was not to return with the team after playing PSG in Paris but to jump on a flight to Cairo, instead Leo Messi flew back to Barcelona to train with his team-mates.
The announcement was made by the Tour N Cure campaign's Media Office earlier today according to .
This will now be Messi's second postponement as he was due to visit Cairo in December but cancelled due to the St. Peter and St. Paul’s Church bombing.

The campaign was for a medical tourism initiative 'Tour n' Cure', which offers treatment packages to hepatitis C patients from all over the world.
Former Barcelona defender, now at Juventus Dani Alves was the first footballer to become ambassador of the brand followed by Egyptian football manager Mido.
Messi joined the brand a month later to be the face of the campaign in 2017.
The Argentine forward will now reschedule his visit but it is yet to be announced.
