BARCELONA stumbled to one of their most embarrassing defeats in the club's history on Tuesday night when they were humiliated 4-0 by Paris Saint-Germain.

The La Liga giants now face near-certain elimination from Europe's elite competition, playing solely for pride at the Nou Camp in the reverse fixture.

On top of what we can assume will be a Champions League exit, Barca are languishing behind main rivals in the league, Real Madrid.

While the gap at this stage may only be one point, Cristiano Ronaldo and Co have two games in hand and may well increase their lead at the top of the Spanish league to seven points.

With the pressure mounting on Barcelona boss Luis Enrique, we take a look at five Premier League bosses who may consider a move to the Nou Camp.

EVERTON boss Koeman is the preferred choice to replace Enrique, according to the agent of Frank De Boer.

The Toffees chief has only been at the club for eight months, but is being lined up to take over at the Nou Camp.

De Boer's agent Guido Albers said: “I don’t believe Frank will go. Barcelona already have managers like Ronald Koeman in mind."

MAURICIO POCHETTINO

ARGENTINE chief Pochettino has been working wonders at Tottenham in recent seasons.

After a successful stint at Southampton prior to his Spurs days to boot, Poch could be in line for a move back to Spain, where he once managed Espanyol.

If the Tottenham man keeps up his great form - and ability to develop young talent - Barcelona could come knocking in the not too distant future.

ARSENE WENGER

IT'S hard to imagine Wenger anywhere else but Arsenal after 20 years in north London.

But with the Gunners failing to take the next step - struggling to challenge for the title or even win a Champions League knockout stage game in nearly a decade - fans are finally losing patience.

With Arsenal almost certain to move on in the summer - and Wenger still very much looking to prolong his career - Barcelona could be just the ticket.

JURGEN KLOPP

LIVERPOOL boss Klopp has only been in charge at Anfield for around 18 months, but has shown signs of being one of Europe's elite bosses.

With a whopping transfer budget to play with and a host of attacking stars such as Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez, Barca could be just the place for Klopp.

A move on Klopp's end may be unlikely, but with his Borussia Dortmund experience also under his belt, he would prove to be an attractive option for Nou Camp chiefs.

PEP GUARDIOLA

THE biggest long-shot on the list, Guardiola could arguably be tempted back to Barcelona.

The Spanish chief - who enjoyed four years as boss at the Nou Camp - spent three trophy-laden seasons at Bayern Munich before his move to Manchester City.

However, since moving to the Etihad he has been placed firmly under the microscope, particularly during the club's mixed form this season, it's fair to assume Pep could be coaxed away in a year or so.
